Education

During my undergraduate studies, I taught biology and chemistry as part of the program 'Pro Science' established by the University of Edinburgh. Through my instructional efforts, I have become a registered Science Technology Engineering Mathematics (STEM) Ambassador and attended various life science events throughout Scotland. I intend to continue my role as a STEM Ambassador as I am passionate about inspiring children from disadvantaged backgrounds to succeed at the university level. I have also visited schools around Edinburgh and South East Scotland to promote the Lothians Equal Access Programme for Schools (LEAPS), a non-profit organization set up to inspire and help pupils from family backgrounds with no higher education to progress onto and succeed at university.

I earned my undergraduate degree in chemical sciences with a Year Abroad Experience from The University of Edinburgh a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Applied Chemistry and a Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Applied Sciences from Fife College.

Hobbies

My dream is to become a Dr of Chemistry and find a college tutor position; in order to develop a Chemistry Diploma and curriculum which gives students from all backgrounds an equal opportunity to pursue studies of STEM subjects, and grant them access to higher education. I enjoy the past times of any typical person, particularly reading, travelling and playing golf.
