Emma L.
Private tutor in Hong Kong, Hong Kong
Education
I have gained many skills over the years as a private tutor. I have worked with toddlers and primary students between the ages of 3-12 in dual languages of French, Mandarin, and English creative writing. I have led students through French and Mandarin at a playgroup level, during which sessions I mainly focused on phonetics, basic greetings, the alphabet, and numbers. I taught English creative writing aimed at helping children between ages 9-12. My co-curricular experience includes teaching arts and crafts during volunteer work with the Hong Kong Spastics Association. As such, I have much experience and patience with children.
Experience
I am currently a student at the University of Hong Kong. I major in History and Art History with a focus on Fine Arts, as well as minoring in Italian. I have a 4.0 out of a 4.3 GPA. I completed the IB Bilingual Diploma in English and Chinese, as well as the IBDP, at Chinese International School. I received awards for three papers in IB History HL.
