Private tutor in Hong Kong, Hong Kong
Education
I am a second year History of Art, Materials and Technology student at UCL . I studied at Malvern St James Girls' School, UK since year 9, and I was an academic and art scholar.
Experience
As an Expressive Arts Prefect in high school, I ran the Art Club, in which I helped bridge the gap between artists of all year groups. I am always fascinated by the diversity of medium that they work with, especially the popularity of digital art. In a clear case of art mirroring technological advancements, this new medium represents a young generation of artists. I achieved A*A*A*A with 100% in Art for my GCE A Levels. In addition, I completed an Extended Project Qualification with A*, of the title: A comparison of British Romantic watercolour landscapes with Chinese ink brush landscape painting in the Northern Song Dynasty, exploring the differences in historical background, aesthetic theory, and composition. For GCSE’s, I achieved 11A*s with 100% in Art. By tutoring younger artists, I hope to share my experience of creating art sketchbooks, and guide them in their thought processes. I am a constantly evolving artist myself, and I am excited to learn and be inspired.
